Fundraising
Alumni associations can strengthen both the undergraduate chapter and the Fraternity-at-large through committed fundraising efforts.

Annual campaign
An annual campaign is conducted for the purposes of raising money to assist in the chapter alumni association’s regular operational expenses. The annual campaign or membership program is the alumni association’s primary source of unrestricted contributed income.

These funds support three operational goals: alumni communication, alumni events and alumni recognition.

Capital campaign
A capital campaign is a time-limited effort by a nonprofit organization to raise significant dollars for a specific project. They have a definite start and end date, but may take place over a period of several years. Often the money raised is to fund the acquisition, construction, or renovation of a building. Sometimes, capital campaigns are used to build an endowment for the future.
A capital campaign employs all the usual means of raising funds such as direct mail and direct solicitation, and require extraordinary preparation and skillful execution.
