Theta Chi Fraternity will hold its 4th Annual Advising Symposium sponsored by The Norwich Housing Corporation which is held in conjunction with the Deranian Presidents Conference, January 9th and 10th in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This event has become an annual event that alumni from across the country look forward to each year. The Advising Symposium focuses on advising undergraduates as either a house corporation officer, chapter advisor, regional counselor or anyone interested in advising a Theta Chi chapter.

Past attendees have found the event "very encouraging" and "helpful" to meet other Theta Chi volunteers.

They have stated that the Symposium "was extremely beneficial and helped them gain invaluable insight into how they could improve in their role" as a volunteer.

Most importantly, they "are reminded that they are not alone" and that other volunteers are experiencing similar challenges at their chapter.

The Advising Symposium wil provide each alumnus an opportunity to connect with undergraduates and other volunteers while discussing today's challenges within the fraternal world. The program will touch on "Today's Students", "Marketing Your Theta Chi Pride", "Helping the Chapter Recruit", and several other operational programs.

Due to problems with the online form, Theta Chi is will continue with the low registration cost of $77.00 per person until Friday, January 2, 2009.
