Gifts to the Foundation Chapter are provided in many ways, and the Foundation Chapter is both grateful and pleased to provide different options that satisfy the desires of our members, friends, and extended Fraternal Family.
Many alumni and undergraduates provide contributions on a regular basis, or on an annual basis. These gifts may be provided through the Foundation’s Annual Campaign program, or through one of many on-going special fund-raising efforts that are targeted by the Foundation to a specific group of alumni over a period of several years.
In addition to, or instead of, supporting the Fraternity's 501(c)3 foundation, many alumni make contribitions directly to chapters of Theta Chi, or to a chapter's Alumni Corporation, whether their own undergraduate chapter or a chapter near where they live or work. 'Local gifts' are not reported to the Foundation Chapter by a chapter or Alumni Corporation officers, nor should they be. Similarly, information about 'local gifts' is not sought by the Foundation Chapter for purposes of reporting to either the public (our membership), via the Foundation's Annual Report that is contained in each Spring issue of The Rattle, or to the United States Internal Revenue Service.
