The purpose of the Life Safety Program is for Theta Chi Fraternity House Corporations to evaluate their current housing life safety program, to recognize any life safety problems that the house may have, and to correct those problems immediately.
The Norwich Housing Corporation identified a need to financially support Theta Chi Housing Corporations who want to take the extra steps to provide a safe and secure house and property for undergraduate members and guests. The result is The Norwich Housing Corporation’s Life Safety loan.
A Life Safety loan is granted on a discretionary basis to help pay for urgent works necessary to reduce or eliminate serious housing life safety risks. A below market interest rate is provided to fund the cost of specific life safety improvements. Additional information regarding the Life Safety loan can be found within this site.
