2018 Sasser Presidents Conference

When: January 5-7, 2018

A hotel reservation will be made on your behalf for Friday and Saturday night during the conference. You will be assigned a roommate who is also participating in the Presidents Conference. Preparing for the Conference This conference is for newly elected presidents only. No substitutions or proxies for the Chapter President are permitted under any circumstances. If you are not the newly elected president, your registration to this event will not be valid.

When to arrive
On-site conference registration will begin at 1 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel. The conference officially begins on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. sharp.

It is essential that you arrive on time?
Please schedule your travel accordingly. Keep an eye on the weather forecast as Midwestern weather has the potential to slow your arrival. Also, be mindful of any time zone changes when traveling by car. Indianapolis is currently on Eastern Standard Time.

What to wear
The attire for the entire event is shirt and tie. A blazer or sport coat is also appropriate.

When to depart
You are free to depart any time after 11 a.m. on Sunday, January 7. Checkout time is noon on Sunday.

On-site registration and hotel check-in

You will find our event registration table in the hotel lobby. You will be able to check into your hotel room after 3 p.m.

Dinner on Friday evening, all meals on Saturday, and a light breakfast on Sunday morning are included
in your registration.

Conference Schedule
The conference schedule will be provided in the coming weeks prior to the conference. Once received, we strongly recommend that you review and print all relevant materials prior to your arrival. You will also be provided a pen and a tablet for taking notes during the conference.

Meetings with IHQ staff
The IHQ staff is here to answer your questions. You can schedule an individual meeting with one or more of the IHQ directors by contacting them directly for availability. Most directors will be available for meetings from noon to 3:30 p.m. on Friday. All availability for meetings is on a first-come, first-served basis. When scheduling your appointment, please indicate your preferred time and a quick synopsis of what you’d like to accomplish during your meeting.

January weather in Indiana can be unpredictable. Please prepare and pack cold weather clothing.
