Joe Macko served as President, Vice President, Marshal, and Recruitment Chair of Zeta Tau Chapter. He aided in starting the UM-Flint IFC, drafting its constitution and bylaws and was elected as its inaugural President. He is a founder of the UM-Flint chapter of Order of Omega and served as its first Vice President. Joe consistently made the Dean’s List, maintaining a 3.82 GPA. He graduated with a degree in Health Sciences in 2012. Subsequently, Joe worked for International Headquarters as a Leadership and Education Consultant (now Field Executive) and the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Expansion before beginning graduate school at Indiana University in the fall of 2014. Joe received a Service Corps Fellowship to help fund his education, and he graduated in 2016 with a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) degree from the top-ranked School of Public and Environmental Affairs. In July of 2016, Joe was hired at International Headquarters as the Director of Development. He is responsible for The Foundation Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity’s yearly mailings, scholarships, and incoming gifts.
