Public Ceremonies

Public Ceremonies

Public Ceremonies are any ceremonies that may be experienced by non-members. Although they are considered to be public in nature, great care should be taken to ensure that these ceremonies are carried out with the decorum and dignity expected of any of the Fraternity’s private rituals.

The Public Ceremonies include the following:

  • Pledging Ceremony
  • Big Brother Ceremony
  • Alumni Ceremony
  • Deceased Brother Ceremony (and alternate readings) - for use at a funeral / gravesite / memorial
  • Memorial Ceremony - an annual ceremony performed by the chapter to remember those lost during the previous year
