Summer is here, and for a lot of us this means having a little more time to read while lounging by the pool or on the beach. In case you’re looking for new books to add to your summer reading list, it’s possible that Brothers Frank Williams (Delta Rho/North Carolina State 1993), Peter Kargenian (Delta Xi/Valparaiso 1992), or Jason Sperling (Beta Alpha/UCLA 1991) might be able to help you out. Each brother has authored a new book that has been released just in time for summer reading.

Brother Frank L. Williams’ first novel, After the Republic, is a political thriller that depicts life after the fall of the American Government. Set in the winter of 2017, the American government has collapsed and recently retired former state legislator, Joshua Winston, steps up to lead a group a patriots determined to survive in the new reality they face.

Brother Peter Kargenian’s first published novel titled, 5 and the End of Magic, introduces readers to contest winner, Anthony, and the band Power of Sound, as the band takes Anthony on a history lesson to a time where magic and myths were real. Did trolls, dragons and ogres exist? Is magic real? Power of Sound may have the answers!

In an attempt to connect with Millennials who live on social media, Brother Jason Sperling is releasing his book, Look at Me When I’m Talking to You, on Instagram. For 160 days, the book will be shared in bite-sized portions or one page a day. “It’s the way most folks currently consume media,” says Sperling. Look at Me When I’m Talking to You talks about building brand attraction in an age of brand aversion. Find Sperling’s book on Instagram @lookatmebook.
