Jim Ficalora began his new role as Director of Development to the Foundation Chapter in March 2024. Jim is responsible for working towards the mission of education through scholarship and transformational leadership. The purpose of the Theta Chi Foundation is simple, to help Theta Chi’s. Jim is responsible for overseeing all stewardship and annual giving, as well as marketing, communications, and branding, for the Excellence Fund.
Jim is an alumnus of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and worked as the Director of Development for the Sigma Chi Foundation. As and collegiate he served in a variety of roles including as Magister, Pro Consol, and Alumnae Relations Advisor for their chapter at Texas State University. Previous to his role with Sigma Chi Fraternity Jim was in the hospitality business in sales working with major brands such as Hilton, Marriott and IHG.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas State University and several executive meeting planning, philanthropy and education certificates.
