In February, the brothers at Epsilon Tau/Stephen F. Austin State University spent a couple of weekends lending a helping hand to the neighbors at Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

“The local Habitat for Humanity ReStore Manager contacted me about the service project,” said chapter president, Conner Murnane. “Their current store is located half a block away from our chapter house so we were quite familiar with their organization,” he added.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore sells recycled items such as building supplies, toilets and other miscellaneous materials at a discounted price, and they had recently purchased a building at a new location.

“The manager asked for our help moving essentially everything inside the current store to the new location,” said Murnane. “Their new location is twice the size of the current building and is located on busy road that will attract more business for them. We helped them move on 2 different days,” Murnane explained.
