Carter Hawkins (2013) was elected Auburn IFC President.

Chi chapter was also awarded James E. Martin Large Fraternity Risk Management Award for 2012. The award, in the Large Fraternity Division, is awarded to the fraternity that exemplifies proper risk management programs and techniques throughout the year. This involves following FIPG rules, being in compliance with Auburn University regulations, and adhering to Auburn IFC risk management guidelines. The award is given once a year at the Greek Life Installation Banquet.

"The chapter as a whole received the award," said Hawkins, "but our Risk Management Chair Ethan Tharpe (2013) should also receive mentions. I can personally say he, along with our outgoing president Michael Evans (2013), put in a lot of work to ensure our social and brotherhood events went as smoothly as possible."
