Brother Rob Corddry, (Theta/Massachusetts 1993), has done it again! Corddry’s earned his second Creative Arts Emmy for his live action, hospital-drama parody, “Childrens Hospital,” a series that Corddry not only created, but stars in and produces. “Childrens Hospital” took home the trophy for Outstanding Short-format Live-action Entertainment during a ceremony held Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013.

What did Brother Corddry think about receiving the Emmy? According to Yahoo News' Victoria Leigh Miller,

"Rob Corddry was blunt — and famished. The "Children's Hospital" creator said he was "so (bleeping) hungry" after the long ceremony that earned him a repeat Emmy for his work on the satirical medical drama. "I would almost trade it for a sandwich," he joked. "And a bottle of water." "

“Childrens Hospital,” now in its fifth season, began as a Web series and became a breakout hit for Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network. The show airs Thursdays at midnight, and co-stars Ken Marino, Nick Offerman, Demitri Martin, Tig Notaro, Lake Bell, Megan Mullally, in addition to Corddry.

Congratulations to Brother Corddry and the cast and crew of "Childrens Hospital"!
