On Saturday August 25, 2012, Delta Kappa Chapter at Ball State University hosted its 22nd annual WaterDaze philanthropy, benefitting the Riley Hospital for Children/IU Health in Indianapolis. With the help of the women of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, this years event boasted a record 35 teams and raised $4,800 which go toward helping Hoosier children afflicted with life-threatening illnesses or debilitating diseases.

This year's WaterDaze took place on Saturday, Aug. 25, and raised a record amount of funds. Participants competed in water themed events from a balloon toss and a race down a 15 foot water slide. There was also music and sandwiches donated by Jimmy John's.

Event chairs Shelby Scott and Jarrod DeVries (2013) traveled to RCF headquarters in Indianapolis on Friday, Sept. 7, to make the check presentation in person. Host Katie Glesing showed the two around the facility and explained the need for continued stewardship from organizations such as Theta Chi and AGD.
