CARMEL, IN – Theta Chi Fraternity is proud to recognize Epsilon Mu Chapter at Eastern Michigan University as the recipient of the 2024 Grand Chapter Scholarship Award.
With a chapter GPA of 3.458, Epsilon Mu stood out among its peers across the nation. This honor reflects the chapter’s unwavering dedication to academic success and to the Fraternity’s guiding maxim: “Alma Mater First and Theta Chi for Alma Mater.”
The Grand Chapter Scholarship Award, also known as the Stanford Trophy, is presented annually to the chapter with the most outstanding academic record for the previous calendar year. Originally gifted to the Grand Chapter in 1928 by Alpha Epsilon Chapter at Stanford University, the trophy symbolizes excellence in scholarship.
Winners are determined through a formula that compares chapter GPA to their campus’s all-men’s average, ensuring a fair evaluation across a wide range of institutions and grading systems.
Congratulations to the brothers of Epsilon Mu Chapter for their outstanding achievement in academics and for setting the standard for what it means to be a scholar and a brother of Theta Chi.
