Excellence in Recruitment Recognized at Initiative Academy Session 3
CARMEL, IN – Theta Chi Fraternity proudly recognized collegiate chapter recruitment award recipients during Session 3 of the 2025 Initiative Academy on July 25. These awards highlight chapters that achieved extraordinary results in recruitment throughout the 2024/2025 academic year, strengthening the Fraternity’s future.
Named for James M. Holland, Phil S. Randall, and Henry B. Hersey—the three men whose actions preserved Theta Chi during its critical moment in 1881—the Fraternity’s recruitment awards honor chapters that continue their legacy through growth and perseverance.
Phil S. Randall Success in Recruitment Award
The Phil S. Randall Award is presented to chapters that initiate 25 or more new members during the academic year. Thirteen chapters earned this recognition during Session 3:

- Iota Xi/Georgia College – 25 initiates
- Sigma/Oregon State – 26 initiates
- Epsilon Theta/Tufts – 29 initiates

- Theta Epsilon/Kennesaw State – 36 initiates
- Psi/Wisconsin – 38 initiates
- Eta Kappa/James Madison – 41 initiates
- Zeta Rho/Kentucky – 44 initiates
- Alpha Delta/Purdue – 57 initiates
- Iota Phi/South Carolina – 61 initiates
- Gamma Rho/Florida State – 65 initiates
