The Foundation Chapter has awarded over $252,000 to 119 Theta Chi undergraduate and alumnus members. Award amounts ranged between $250 and $6,000 to assist with tuition for the 2013/2014 academic year.

Over 350 applications were submitted this year, on par with the amount submitted last year. The Foundation Chapter credits the number of applicants to its easy online application system, which makes it convenient for brothers to apply.

Academic Scholarships

Sherwood and Janet Roberts Blue Memorial Scholarship

Blue Memorial Scholarships are given to undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate scholastic aptitude and financial need. Recipients are selected by a committee of The Foundation Chapter.

Victor Simon Memorial Scholarship

Simon Memorial Scholarships are awarded to Theta Chi brothers who are engineering majors. Applicants must show financial need, demonstrate superior scholarship, and be either a member in good standing or employee of Theta Chi. To qualify, an applicant must be at least a second-semester freshman.

Graduate Advisor Scholarship

Brothers attending graduate school can earn a Graduate Advisor Scholarship in exchange for advising a colony or chapter while completing their graduate-level coursework. Graduate Advisor Scholarships are by application only.
