Former Louisville Cardinal basketball star and 2013 Final Four’s Most Outstanding Player, Luke Hancock (Eta Chi/George Mason 2011), has agreed to play in the Greek Basket League club, Panionios.
Based in Athens, Panionios is one of the 14 teams in the Greek Basket League. The Greek Basket League is considered to be one of the best pro leagues in Europe.
Hancock came close to making the NBA roster this fall. He played for two NBA summer-league teams – Houston and Orlando, and the Memphis Grizzlies signed him to their training camp roster in August, but he did not make the final team.
