Brother George Werbacher, Iota Lambda/Longwood (2014), is one of four students from Longwood University’s College of Business and Economics selected to participate in an all-expenses-paid research internship at Carnegie Mellon University this summer.

Werbacher currently serves as Iota Lambda’s Recruitment Chairman. He is also a member of the IFC Executive Council, and as the President of Longwood’s Campus Programming Board.

The students will serve as fellows in Carnegie Mellon’s highly competitive ITLAB Internship program, which is open to rising seniors pursuing STEM-related undergraduate degrees. The students will have the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research projects led by Carnegie Mellon faculty, who are renowned experts in their fields.
