The Louisiana State University Senate of Student Government passed a resolution on Oct. 24, 2012 congratulating the Iota Pi Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity for the successes that they have had in the past year. The resolution mentioned the milestones that were instrumental in getting Iota Pi to where they are today. Milestones included status changes: from an idea, to an Interest group, to a Colony, to a Chapter. The resolution also commended Iota Pi on their entrance into the IFC, the members for their hard work, and the Chapter President for his leadership.

Iota Pi has also won LSU's Greek Homecoming Flag Football tournament with parters Chi Omega.
