The Resolute Man®
Event Track
Upon completion of the track, participants will earn the distinction of Resolute Man.
Objective and Description:
The Resolute Man® – Event Track in San Antonio guides participants on a deep dive in the topics of leadership development, composition and management of the International Fraternity, and civic engagement. You will work in both large and small groups to improve your leadership skills, understand the importance of civic engagement, and develop a strategic plan. This year's Event Track will introduce you to leaders of the Theta Chi Fraternity and International Headquarters staff, assist you in creating bonds with 40 collegiate brothers from across North America, and connect you with local community leaders in the San Antonio area.
Learning Outcomes:
- Enhanced leadership and teamwork skills, specifically in communication and relationship building.
- Understanding of the leadership and management composition of Theta Chi Fraternity, its mission, and operations.
- Knowledge of building a strategic plan with a team to advance a mission based on a vision.
- Improved awareness of the importance of civic engagement in collegiate communities and beyond.
NOTE: Event Track participants will need to arrive in San Antonio on Thursday, July 9—one day earlier than the 170th Anniversary Convention.
