JULY 12TH - Bloomington, IN - Theta Chi Fraternity is excited to announce the second round of 2014/2015 recipients of the Chapter Excellence Award and Chapter Achievement Award.  Nine chapters were recognized during the Iota Class of the Initiative Academy, held July 9-12, 2015 in Bloomington:

The Chapter Achievement Award was created in 1991 to recognize and encourage chapters that demonstrate strong performance or significant progress in most areas of chapter operations and organization. All chapters that apply for the Alter Award automatically qualify for Achievement Award consideration.  A total of eleven chapters received this honor for the 2014-2015 academic year, two of which were present during this weekend's Initiative Academy Award Ceremony:

The Chapter Excellence Awards were created to honor those chapters that have excelled in one or more of the following areas: scholarship, recruitment, new member and member education, community service and philanthropy activities, Sacred Purpose, alumni programming, chapter finances, the Ritual, chapter operations, internal cooperation, campus involvement, risk management practices, and social programming.

Chapters must submit all or part of the Alter Award application to be considered for the Chapter Excellence Award.  A total of 27 chapters qualified for the award this year.  Seven of these chapters were present during this weekend's Initiative Academy Award Ceremony:

Zeta Chapter at the University of New Hampshire
