Subscriptions
Starting with the spring 2010 edition, The Rattle is available online as an e-publication. All Fraternity members with a valid e-mail address on file with the International Headquarters receive the digital Rattle in the form of a notification when a new edition is available.
Why go digital?
The decision to switch to a digital format was made in response to rising printing and postage costs associated with mailing a copy of the magazine to the Fraternity’s roughly 30,000 subscribers. Publishing in a digital format also allows the editorial team to take advantage of more online-only features, including slideshows, audio clips, video and more.
Print editions
Print editions are still available, but in limited quantities. Print versions are provided to:
- All active contributors to the Grand Chapter and/or Foundation Chapter
- Fraternity volunteers
- Collegiate chapters (five per chapter)
- Colleges and universities at which Theta Chi has a chapter, colony or interest group
- Fraternity and sorority headquarters

Subscription information
When a new edition becomes available, the editor will send an e-mail to members with a good e-mail address on file with the International Headquarters. If you have not been receiving e-mails, it is possible that you may need to update your contact information.
If you know your information is up to date with the International Headquarters, check your mail program’s spam filter to make sure our e-mails aren’t accidentally being sent there.
