Omega/Penn State was awarded the prestigious President's Cup at this year's Greek Column Awards. The President's Cup is the top award for Penn State's more than 90 Greek-letter organizations. Chosen from a pool of four finalists, this is the chapter's first President's Cup win.

Omega was also named Interfraternity Council Chapter of the Year. The winner is chosen based on an application reviewed by a committee of the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. Penn State's IFC is composed of more than 45 member organizations.

Additionally, Omega was recognized as a Chapter of Excellence in Penn State's accreditation program. To qualify as a Chapter of Excellence, a chapter must earn a minimum of 285 out of a possible 300 points.

And lastly, Omega Chapter Adviser Rich Bartnik was named Chapter Adviser of the Year.
