Theta Chi Fraternity celebrated the long-awaited return of Alpha Upsilon Chapter at the University of Nebraska on Saturday, March 10. Alpha Upsilon had been inactive since 1998.

Forty-nine members, including eight alumni, were initiated into the chapter at the First United Methodist Church in Lincoln, NE. Past National Treasurer Eric Raasch served as installing officer, and was assisted by Past National Marshal Dana Richardson.

Also in attendance were Alpha Upsilon alumni, as well as University representatives and other friends of the chapter. The weekend's festivities concluded with a celebratory banquet at the Nebraska Champions Club, across from Memorial Stadium.

“Theta Chi is very proud to be once again represented at the University of Nebraska,” Executive Director Mike Mayer said. “Our chapter is composed of men who are committed to perpetuating Theta Chi’s traditions and ideals for years to come.”

Special thanks were extended to the members of Gamma Phi Chapter at Nebraska Wesleyan University for sharing their chapter facility with the colony and reserving the initiation site.
