Volunteer Spotlight: Dustin E. Bartley

This month’s Volunteer Spotlight highlights Dustin Bartley, Gamma Phi/Nebraska Wesleyan 2003

Brother Bartley currently serves as a counselor for the Gamma Phi/Nebraska Wesleyan, Alpha Upsilon/Nebraska chapters and also sits on the Gamma Phi house corporation board.

This prior academic year, he helped recruit a Chapter Advisory Board (CAB) for Gamma Phi chapter and has started building a CAB for Alpha Upsilon chapter.  As a chapter advisor, he was vital in the mentoring of Alpha Upsilon, and successfully pushed them toward their goal of reinstallation, which occurred in March 2012.

Brother Bartley has also built a reputation as being an expert in all areas of the ritual. From 2008-2010 he served the National Ritual committee, assisting with the 2010 updates and revisions. One of his proudest moments as a national volunteer was seeing this new Ritual unveiled in 2010 at the 154th Anniversary Convention in Orlando. He has continued his work with the ritual, serving as the lead volunteer in charge of the ritual this past summer at the 156th Anniversary Convention in Palm Springs, California.

Dustin works as a therapist at the Lutheran Family Services and part-time at the Lancaster County Department of Community Corrections. He currently resides in Lincoln Nebraska.
