Theta Chi is pleased to announce the 2017/2018 recruitment award recipients. The James M. Holland, Phil S. Randall, and Henry B. Hersey awards were created to recognize and honor the Fraternity’s top recruiting chapters for the previous academic year.

Theta Chi Fraternity is excited to announce the 2017/2018 recipients of the Howard R. Alter, Jr. Award for Chapter Excellence. Three chapters were recognized during the 162nd Anniversary Convention in Las Vegas.

Tim Ledford, Brandon Bledsoe and John Thompson developed a safety device that utility workers clip onto their hard hats. It beeps and flashes when workers approach a high-voltage electrical source, reducing the risk of electrocution.

Jay Hosack was announced as the fifth head men's volleyball coach in Mason history on August 25, 2015. Hosack, who brings a plethora of NCAA and international coaching experience to Mason, becomes the fifth head coach in program history. He begins his third year at the helm of Mason's program in 2017-18.
